Relaxation Massage

Relaxation Massage incorporates gentle techniques and soothing stretches to promote a sense of calm and well-being. For those seeking more intense relief, we recommend choosing our Therapeutic or Deep Tissue options for deeper muscle engagement.

Deep Tissue Massage

Find relief from chronic pain, tension and tightness caused by injury or overworked muscles. This is a full body therapeutic massage, with pressure being applied lighter and then deeper throughout the massage. Your massage therapist will adjust the pressure to accommodate your comfort level. This service is beneficial for those with chronic muscle tension and pain.

Deep Tissue Massage – Focused – 30 Minutes

This therapeutic massage focuses on specific problem areas, with lighter and then deeper pressure applied during the massage. As a full body deep tissue massage cannot properly be performed in less than an hour, the focused deep tissue massage is a great alternative for those who are short on time &/or only have a few specific areas that they would like us to help. Common focused deep tissue massages concentrate on the neck & shoulders or the lower back.

Swedish Massage

The most widely recognized and commonly used category of massage is the Swedish massage. Swedish massage has shown to be helpful in reducing pain, joint stiffness, and improving function in clients with osteoarthritis of the knee. Clinical studies report that Swedish Massage can effectively reduce low back pain and the effectiveness can last for as long as 15 weeks. One study reported that Swedish Massage caused reduction in cortisol (the stress hormone that causes belly fat).

Hot Stone Massage

Tension melts away as warm stones are used over the entire body, radiating deep into tight muscles and bringing your body into a state of deep relaxation. Hot Stone massage is offered in only 90 minute & 120 minute appointments.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

MLD is a technique that works to encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid. It is a systemic, rhythmic method of purposefully stretching the skin to produce an increase in the volume of flow of the lymph fluid through the filtering system of the body. For many, the main benefits of MLD are going to be helping reduce edemas and inflammation and prevent lymphedema. Offered in 60 & 90 minute sessions.

Reflexology

Reflexology targets acupressure points on the ears, hands, and feet, engaging over 7,200 nerve endings to promote overall well-being. This therapeutic approach enhances circulation, supports detoxification, and facilitates lymph drainage, while significantly boosting oxygen flow throughout the body.

Color and Sound Technique

Color and Sound Technique provides a distinctive sound healing experience using tuning forks to create soothing vibrations that resonate throughout the body. By incorporating colors, stones, and essential oils, this method fosters holistic balance, relaxation, and connectivity across mental, emotional, and physical dimensions.

Reiki Energy Healing Bodywork

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a form of alternative medicine developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the client in order to encourage emotional and physical healing. Our Reiki Masters also do relaxing bodywork in their sessions, treating the whole person. You come away feeling balanced, relaxed & refreshed.

Decompression Therapy (Cupping)

Cupping is an ancient Chinese method and one of the best deep tissue modalities available. The suction pressure provided by cupping can loosen muscles, encourage blood flow and sedate the nervous system. Cupping is used to relieve back, neck and leg pains, stiff muscles, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism and even cellulite. The cupping suction is pulling on the muscles as the therapist moves them during the massage, the negative pressure feels amazing.

Shiatsu Massage

Shiatsu is a Japanese bodywork technique rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, utilizing compression and acupressure along energy meridians to relieve muscle tension. It evolved from anma, which itself was adapted from the Chinese tui na system. Modern shiatsu was popularized in the 1940s by Tokujiro Namikoshi, who established a shiatsu college.

Raindrop Technique

Raindrop is a specific technique used in the application of 9 unique high quality essential oils along the vital reflex points on the feet as well as along the spine. This technique is great for promoting and stimulating structural and electrical realignment of the spine. The oils help the body release stuck toxins along the spine, so it is especially beneficial for anyone experiencing different neurological conditions.

Light Healing Touch

Light healing touch is used to break up congested, blocked, stagnated and constricted energy in the body. When energy isn’t moving freely throughout the body, it can cause a disconnect between the nervous system, mind and physical body. This technique is great for those that feel disconnected or a little “off”. It helps to direct the flow of energy throughout the body in order to promote connectivity, healing and restoration.

Myofascial Release(MFR) with Bodywork

MFR consists of long, intentional gentle holds directly on the skin to detect fascial restrictions and stimulate the release of fascia impingement throughout the body. MFR has been shown to be beneficial for those with decreased mobility or range in motion, chronic pain with little or no relief from other methods, trauma or scar tissue from an injury or surgery, emotional trauma, mood swings, sacral pain, TMJ, or sleep issues.

Neural Organization Technique (N.O.T.)

Our nervous system begins creating automatic programming early in childhood and continues as we go through life – embracing and holding onto emotional, mental and physical experiences and trauma. This technique stimulates the nervous system and allows the body to relax, release and reset the programming of the nervous system.
